Teaching Assistant EDUC 2F95 Fall/Winter D1 S2
About The Position
Brock University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the EDUC 2F95 course for the Fall/Winter D1 S2 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. Compensation for Teaching Assistant positions is based on qualifications, with an undergraduate rate of $23.30 per hour and a graduate rate of $36.67 per hour (effective September 1, 2026). Additional duties will be compensated at the appropriate Teaching Assistant rate. The duties and responsibilities are in accordance with Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement, and include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time such as preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking or grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration.
Requirements
- Honours BA, Honours BSc, and/or BECE
- Previous successful teaching experience at the preschool, elementary, secondary, or postsecondary level
- Experience working with early childhood Indigenous populations
- Background in Indigenous Ways of Knowing and/or Indigenous cultures
