About The Position

These postings are directed to graduate students who are registered at McGill University in the Fall 2026 semester. Applications from others will not be considered. Teaching Assistants will be on campus to perform their tasks in person. Should anything prohibit in-person teaching activities, courses will revert to remote teaching. In the event of such a change, Teaching Assistants will be advised as soon as possible. Teaching Assistants may be required to perform tasks suited to a remote/online teaching environment using a virtual learning platform [e.g., Zoom, WebEx] and the McGill myCourses learning management system. Teaching Assistants must be available to work the entire contract period. When applying for the positions please consult the up-to-date McGill class schedule on Minerva to avoid any conflicts. Requirements

  • Must be a McGill graduate student registered in the Fall 2026 semester.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Must be willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located.
  • Must have English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be available to work the entire contract period.
  • Must be able to avoid conflicts with the McGill class schedule on Minerva.
