About The Position
Brock University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the SPMA 2P16 course, focusing on Governance and Policy in Sport Compensation. This role involves scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom duties such as preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration. Requirements
- At least a fourth-year student currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Sport Management, or equivalent
- Effective communication skills including the ability to explain subject material to students
- Punctual in attending classes
- Able to meet appropriate deadlines
- Proven track record of working effectively with competent and quick marking turnaround
Nice To Haves
- MA or higher will be given preference
- Preferable to have taken the course with an 80% grade
