About The Position

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems at Penn State University Park seeks one part-time teaching assistant to assist Dr. Lina Wang with SCM 404: Demand Fulfillment during the Spring 2027 semester. The position is scheduled to start in January 2027 and involves up to 10 hours of work per week. Workload may vary week to week depending on when assignments are due and need to be graded. The assistant will also help with in-class group activities during all class meetings on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Requirements

• Be a third-year or higher Supply Chain and Information Systems major who has successfully completed SCM 404 at Penn State, or be a currently enrolled master's-level student with a Supply Chain background.
• Successfully complete required background check(s) in accordance with University policies.

Responsibilities

• Hold office hours.
• Grade assignments.
• Prepare study guides and solutions.
• Assist with group activities in class at all meetings on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
