About The Position

Little Lukes is hiring a part-time Preschool Teaching Assistant for its center-based preschool in Camillus, New York. The assistant supports an engaging learning environment for children ages 3 to 5, using the center’s award-winning curriculum and supplies that help stimulate children’s development. The role involves working with a team to help young children explore, learn, and grow, including children with special needs in integrated preschool classrooms. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the option for more hours. Pay is up to $22 per hour for candidates with NYS Teaching Assistant certification. Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
High energy level and a caring personality.
Teamwork mentality and a caring attitude.

Nice To Haves

NYS Teaching Assistant certification preferred.
Experience with children with special needs is ideal.
Preschool or Pre-K experience is a plus.
Prior childcare or daycare experience is preferred.
