About The Position

The Biology Department at McGill University is hiring for Teaching Assistant (TA) positions for the Fall 2026 term. These positions will support various undergraduate biology courses, including Principles: Organismal Biology, Essential Biology, Molecular Biology, Methods in Biology of Organisms, Perspectives of Science, Introduction to Ecology & Evolution, Introduction to Physical Biology of the Cell, Cell and Molecular Laboratory, Fundamentals of Genetics and Genomics, Evolution, Neural Basis of Behaviour, Ecological Dynamics, Mathematical Models in Biology, Eukaryotic Cell Biology, Vertebrate Morphology & Evolution, Methods in Organismal Biology, Limnology, and Conservation Biology. The estimated number of positions is 100, with a total of 45-180 hours of work per term. Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in Quebec.
