About The Position
This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the ITAL 230 (Understanding Italy) course at McGill University for the Fall 2026 term. The TA will assist the instructor with grading assignments, managing MyCourses (grade-book, lectures, messages), and providing technical support to students. This role is only available to McGill University registered graduate students in an MA or PhD degree program for the Fall 2026 term. Requirements
- Must be a registered graduate student (M.A. or Ph.D.) in the Italian Studies Program, in the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at McGill University for the Fall 2026 term.
- Excellent knowledge of academic English.
- General knowledge of myCourses.
- Must be comfortable in dealing with students as individuals or in a group.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Native or near-native fluency in English and Italian.
- International students must have a valid study permit, social Insurance number (SIN), and Canadian bank account.
