About The Position
Brock University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the ENSU 2P01: Introduction to Environmental Sustainability course for the Fall D2 term. This position is within the CUPE4207-1 employee group. Compensation for Teaching Assistant, Course Coordinator, and Lab Demonstrator positions is based on qualifications, with different rates for those holding a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree versus those who do not. Additional duties will be compensated at the appropriate Teaching Assistant rate. The duties include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time such as preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration. Requirements
- Graduate and/or undergraduate degree in Environmental Sustainability or a related degree with transdisciplinary orientation
- Technological expertise and familiarity with Brightspace, the Learning Management System
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant at the undergraduate level (letters of reference and course / performance evaluations may be required)
