Teaching Assistant KINE 3P97 Fall D2
About The Position
Brock University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the course Exercise Physiology in Aging and Disease (KINE 3P97) for the Fall D2 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 employee group. Compensation will be based on the employee's qualifications, with an undergraduate rate of $23.30 per hour and a graduate rate of $36.67 per hour (effective September 1, 2026). Additional duties will be compensated at the appropriate Teaching Assistant rate. The duties and responsibilities are in accordance with Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement, and include scheduled contact time with students, preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking or grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration.
Requirements
- Must have obtained a degree in Kinesiology or equivalent
- Must be enrolled in a Kinesiology graduate program
- Must have experience with or knowledge of the course material
Nice To Haves
- Prior teaching and/or research experience in the discipline is preferred
