About The Position

Brock University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the SPMA3P90 Analysis of Non-Profit Sport Compensation course for the Fall D2-2 term. This position is part of CUPE4207-1 and is paid according to qualifications, with rates effective September 1, 2026. The role involves scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom duties such as preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration. Requirements

• At least a fourth-year student currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Sport Management, or equivalent
• Effective communication skills including the ability to explain subject material to students
• Punctual in attending classes
• Able to meet appropriate deadlines
• Proven track record of working effectively with competent and quick marking turnaround

Nice To Haves

• MA or higher will be given preference
• Preferable to have taken the course with an 80% grade
