About The Position
Teaching Assistants will assist second-year medical students in anatomy dissections. This role involves laboratory teaching, leading review sessions, and assisting with exam-related activities. The Teaching Assistants must demonstrate excellent teaching skills in the anatomy lab and effectively guide students during dissection of the head and neck. They will also participate in the supervision and facilitation of anatomy review sessions, as well as assist with the preparation and invigilation of the anatomy lab exam.
Requirements
- Previous laboratory experience in human anatomy on topics relevant to the course description.
- Strong knowledge of head and neck anatomy.
- Experience with head and neck dissection.
- Good communication skills.
- Effective communication skills in English (verbally and in writing).
- Authorized to work in Canada.
- Willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based.
Nice To Haves
- Communication in French is an asset.
