About The Position

This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the Quantitative Methods in Psychology I course (PSY2106, Section D02) during the Winter 2027 semester at the University of Ottawa. The role involves supporting the course, including potential training, preparation, student contact, marking, grading, and proctoring exams. The assistant will also be responsible for weekly laboratories or tutorials, which will be offered in person. TAs are expected to be available during the scheduled lab time on Thursdays from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM. The total work hours for this position are 130.

Requirements

  • Honours Baccalaureate in Psychology or its equivalent
  • Current enrolment in a graduate program in Psychology
  • Availability during scheduled lab time (Thursdays from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM)
  • Completion of all mandatory legislated training offered by the University
