About The Position

This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the Quantitative Methods in Psychology I course (PSY2106, Section D03) during the Winter 2027 semester at the University of Ottawa. The role involves supporting the course, which will be offered in person, including weekly laboratories or tutorials. The TA is expected to be available during the scheduled lab time on Mondays from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Requirements

  • Honours Baccalaureate in Psychology or its equivalent.
  • Current enrolment in a graduate program in Psychology.
  • Availability during the scheduled lab time (Mondays from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM).
  • Completion of all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
  • Must be an undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Ottawa.

Responsibilities

  • Training, preparation, contact with students, marking, grading, and proctoring all exams.
  • Conducting weekly laboratories or tutorials.
