About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the Community Psychology course (PSY4134, Section D00) during the Winter 2027 semester. The position is for one section with an expected enrollment of 60 students. The work is to be performed on campus and involves in-person duties such as proctoring exams and handling deferrals. The TA will be trained and will have contact with students, and will be responsible for marking and grading. The total work hours are 30, with specific task allocations to be negotiated with the supervising professor. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. Undergraduate students will be paid at a lower rate, while graduate students will receive a higher rate. These rates do not include vacation or statutory pay and are subject to change upon ratification of a new collective agreement. Requirements

  • Honours Baccalaureate in Psychology or its equivalent
  • Current enrolment in a graduate program in Psychology
