About The Position
This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the course ECH 3720A, "Guerre et sécurité: Perspectives historiques", during the Fall 2026 semester. The position is classified under CUPE. The TA will be responsible for correcting assignments and exams, facilitating discussion groups, providing individual student support, and meeting with the course professor. The expected enrollment is 65 students, with a total of 130 work hours. The work start date is September 09, 2026, and the work end date is December 31, 2026. The hourly rate depends on student status: AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor will be paid $31.89 for undergraduate students or $50.25 for graduate students (2024-2025 rates). These rates do not include vacation or statutory pay and will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified, with retroactivity upon ratification. The language of work is French.
