About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the course ECH 1500B, "Introduction à l'étude des conflits et droits humains" (Introduction to the Study of Conflicts and Human Rights), for the Fall 2026 semester. The position is under the CUPE collective agreement. The TA will be responsible for correcting assignments and exams, facilitating discussion groups, providing individual student support, and meeting with the course professor. The expected enrollment is 244 students, and there are 5 positions available. The work start date is September 09, 2026, and the work end date is December 31, 2026, with a total of 65 work hours. The hourly rate is $31.89 for undergraduate students and $50.25 for graduate students (2024-2025 rates, subject to ratification of a new collective agreement). The language of work is French.
