About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the course ECH 1500B, Introduction à l'étude des conflits et droits humains, during the Fall 2026 semester. The position is with the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) within the Faculty of Social Sciences. The TA will be responsible for correcting assignments and exams, facilitating discussion groups, providing individual student support, and meeting with the course supervisor. The expected enrollment is 244 students, and there are 4 positions available. The work is expected to start on September 09, 2026, and end on December 31, 2026, with a total of 130 work hours. The hourly rate will be $31.89 for undergraduate students and $50.25 for graduate students (2024-2025 rates), excluding vacation and statutory pay. These rates are subject to change upon ratification of a new collective agreement, with retroactive pay provided after ratification. The language of work is French.
