About The Position
This posting is for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor position in BIO 1150 (BioZoo) for the 2026 Spring/Summer Semester at the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Science, Department of Biology. The position involves in-person computer-based labs, with two labs per week. The total work hours for this contract are 130 hours.
Requirements
- Successful completion of BIO 1150 or course equivalent(s).
- Successful completion of WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety workshops.
- In-person computer-based labs.
Responsibilities
- Preparation: 6 hours
- Contact with Students: 62 hours
- Grading: 53 hours
- Proctoring: 7 hours
