About The Position
This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the course "Analyse quantitative des données en sciences de la santé: variables continues" (HSS2781 Section A) during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves assisting with assignments, grading assignments and exams, and managing the associated laboratory. The Teaching Assistant will also be required to hold in-person office hours to address student questions and concerns outside of class time. The course is delivered in person, with hybrid lab sessions on Fridays and in-person class sessions on Tuesdays.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or Doctorate in Health Sciences or related fields
- Advanced knowledge of statistical concepts and methods
- Knowledge of Excel and SPSS
- Experience with e-learning programs and software (as a user or teaching assistant)
- Experience with web software (uploading content, programming content)
- Access to a computer, internet, microphone, and webcam
- Must be able to come to campus for in-person classes and lab sessions
Responsibilities
- Assistance with assignments
- Correction of assignments and exams
- Management of the associated laboratory
- Proctoring of exams
- Provide in-person office hours to respond to student questions or concerns outside of class hours
