About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant position for the Greek Civilization course (CLA1101-A00) during the 2026 Fall Semester at the University of Ottawa. The role involves supporting the course, which has an expected enrollment of 300 students and will be taught in person. The specific allocation of hours for tasks such as research, preparation, student contact, grading, proctoring, and training will be negotiated and signed by the student and the supervising professor prior to the commencement of work. All university employees are required to complete mandatory legislated training. Requirements

• Baccalaureate in Classics and Religious Studies or related field.
• Must be a CUPE 2626 member or eligible for membership.
• Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
• Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
