About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant position for the course AHL2110, Introduction to Animal Studies I, Section A00, during the 2026 Fall Semester. The work is to be performed via web conference. The total work hours are 85, with a start date of September 1, 2026, and an end date of December 31, 2026. The hourly rate is $33.83 for undergraduate students and $53.31 for graduate students (Sept. 2026 - Aug. 2027), excluding vacation and statutory pay. These rates are subject to change based on a new collective agreement. The language of work is English. The hiring process will be governed by the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements

• B.A. degree.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to communicate accurately, effectively, and with clarity in the language of instruction.
• Undergraduate or Graduate student status (determines pay rate).

Responsibilities

• Correcting assignments and exams.
