About The Position
This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the Selected Topics in History (The First World War) course (HIS3397, Section B00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves supporting the instructor by grading homework, essays, and tests. The course is delivered in person. The hiring process will be governed by the current CUPE 2626 collective agreement.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate in History or related field.
- Must complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
- Must be a CUPE 2626 member.

- Graduate student status for higher hourly rate.
Responsibilities
- Correcting homework, essays, and tests.
- Attending lectures in class and/or online.
- Consulting in person and/or online with individual students.
- Proctoring exams.
