This posting is for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor (CUPE) position for the course HIS1111-B00, The Twentieth-Century World from 1945, during the Fall 2026 semester. The work is to be performed in person on the Main Campus. The position involves a combination of duties as per Article 4.3.1 of the collective agreement, which may include correcting assignments, attending lectures (in class and/or online), consulting with students (in person and/or online), and proctoring. The number of hours or positions may vary according to enrollment. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. Undergraduate students will be paid at a lower rate, while graduate students will be paid at a higher rate. These rates do not include vacation pay nor statutory pay and will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified, with retroactivity paid after ratification.
