About The Position
This position is for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor within the Department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Sciences, Students & Casuals, for the specific course CHM2120C (ORGANIC CHEMISTRY II). The role involves preparing and giving tutorials, answering students' questions, and other related tasks as outlined in the description of work. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. Undergraduate students will be paid at a lower rate, while graduate students will receive a higher rate. These rates do not include vacation or statutory pay and are subject to change based on a new collective agreement.
Requirements
- Candidate must have 1 full year of general chemistry
- Candidate must have 1 full year of organic chemistry
- Candidate must have CHM 3120 or its equivalents
