This is a specific course posting for a Teaching Assistant (TA) role for HIS2300-A00, Global Environmental History, during the Fall 2026 semester. The position is within the Department of History at the Faculty of Arts. The TA will be responsible for a combination of duties as outlined in Article 4.3.1 of the collective agreement, which may include correcting assignments, attending lectures (in-person or online), consulting with students (in-person or online), and proctoring exams. The total work hours are expected to be 45. The hourly rate will be $31.89 for undergraduate students and $50.25 for graduate students (2024-2025 rates), excluding vacation and statutory pay. These rates are subject to change pending a new collective agreement ratification, with retroactivity applied after ratification. The language of work is English.
