About The Position
This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the Bioethics course (PHI2396, Section B00) during the 2026 Fall Semester. The role involves supporting the instructor by grading homework, essays, and tests. This course is delivered in person. The hiring process will be governed by the current CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements
- Baccalaureate in Philosophy or related field.
- Must complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
- Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
Responsibilities
- Correcting homework, essays, and tests.
- Attending lectures in class and/or online.
- Consulting in person and/or online with individual students.
- Proctoring exams.
