About The Position

This posting is for a new position as a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor (CUPE) for the Mécanique course (PHY2733) during the Fall 2026 semester at the Main Campus. The Faculty is the Faculty of Science, and the Unit is the Department of Physics, Students & Casuals. The position involves specific tasks such as preparation, contact with students, grading, and proctoring, with a total of 130 work hours. The hourly rate depends on whether the applicant is an undergraduate or graduate student.   • Preparation: 24 hours
  • Contact with Students: 36 hours
  • Grading: 60 hours
  • Proctoring: 4 hours
  • Training: 0 hours
  • Other: 6 hours
  • Up to 60 hours of grading
  • Up to 24 hours of directed readings
  • Up to 24 hours of preparation / development of class material
  • Up to 12 hours for preparation / development of class material
  • Up to 6 hours for proctoring mid-term exams / course evaluations, etc.
  • Proctoring of a final exam - 4 hours
