About The Position

At The Hiland Theater, we are currently seeking teachers with experience and passion in working with children ages 6-12, versed in one or more of the following disciplines: ballet, jazz, modern/contemporary, tap, and hip-hop. We are also seeking hip-hop and breaking teachers for older students as well. Instructors prepare lesson plans for classes, and choreography for performances. General Artistic Duties include attending all enrichment workshops and staff meetings as needed, following the NDI New Mexico program curriculum set by the program director, providing the program director with required materials and information as needed, supporting performances by working backstage, subbing classes when available, and other duties as needed and mutually agreed upon.

Requirements

Experience and passion in working with children ages 6-12.
Versed in one or more of the following disciplines: ballet, jazz, modern/contemporary, tap, and hip-hop.
Seeking hip-hop and breaking teachers for older students.
