About The Position

Family of Kidz has brought together highly qualified teams of professionals who work diligently to help children with special needs, from birth to adulthood. Our focus is on establishing a strong understanding of each child’s needs and teaching them skills that lead to greater independence and an enhanced quality of life. This position is part-time, center-based, and involves working with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. The hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 11:30 am, though hours may vary. The compensation ranges from $18-$20 per hour, determined by the service provided, professional experience, and license/certifications held.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months ABA working with children or adolescents with Autism in a supervised setting.
Successful completion of or current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education or related field.
Critical thinker with a problem-solving mind.
Exposure to the practice of maintaining a high level of confidentiality
Excellent time management/organizational skills

Nice To Haves

Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with Clinical Supervisors to implement principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.
Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions.
Acquire and maintain RBT credential in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) within the first 90 days of employment.
Use Central Reach platform for data collection and graphing.
Implement Behavior Support Plans and Behavior Intervention Plans as directed.
Effectively manage learners including physical crisis intervention protocols, while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
Understand and demonstrate the company core values.
