Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and talented Full Time Teacher! This position requires availability for Full Hospital and Departmental orientation: MONDAY -FRIDAY (8 AM - 5 PM). Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a provider of quality psychiatric treatment services for adults, children and adolescents. Our outpatient services are a convenient drive to areas in Hinds County, Madison County and Rankin County. We also provide inpatient services for those who need more structured treatment. We provide psychiatric treatment for depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, phobia and more. Requirements

Valid teaching license/certificate.

Nice To Haves

Graduate of a four-year accredited institution.
1-3 years experience in the behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

Development, implementation and evaluation of instructional programs to all assigned, hospitalized children and adolescents.
Regular communication to school personnel and attending physicians regarding assignments, test results, special education needs, and behavioral reports, within the hospital’s educational setting.
Administering, and reporting approved testing instruments ordered by attending physicians or given by the classroom teacher to affected personnel.
