About The Position

At The Learning Experience, we make early education joyful! Our mission is to create a happy, nurturing environment where children, families, and teachers grow together. We’re looking for a caring, energetic Teacher to join our team and help open a new toddler room with our littlest learners to help them explore the world around them.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience (1 year preferred) working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center.
High school diploma/GED required.
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and infant milestones.
A strong communication, organizational and classroom management
Must meet all Connecticut state requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher position.
A positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude!

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred
CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

Create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment for infants.
Implement our fun, hands-on L.E.A.P. Curriculum® to support early learning and development.
Build strong relationships with families by sharing daily updates, photos, and milestones.
Collaborate with other teachers and center leadership to maintain a positive and supportive workplace.
Model best practices in early childhood education and help guide assistant teachers in the classroom.
Ensure compliance with all state licensing and safety standards.
