About The Position

Teachers at St. Joseph KinderCare implement KinderCare’s curriculum in ways that meet each child’s unique needs and create safe, nurturing environments for children to play and learn. They partner with parents to provide high-quality care and education, and work with center staff and leadership to support center goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement. Teachers also build positive relationships with families, colleagues, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. Requirements

• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role.
• CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain it.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Ability to assume low-level postures for physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
