About The Position

Teachers at CDLC of Maple Grove implement KinderCare's curriculum in ways that reflect each child's unique needs and create safe, nurturing environments for children to play and learn. They partner with parents to provide children with quality care and education, collaborate with center staff and leadership to support goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, and build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. The role offers an hourly pay rate of $15.75. In Minnesota, an additional $3.00 per hour is currently provided for classroom hours through the Minnesota Great Start Compensation Support Program.

Requirements

Meet state-specific qualifications for the role.
Have outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
Be able to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
Have, or be willing to obtain, CPR and First Aid Certification.
Be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
Be able to assume low-level postures for physical and visual contact with children.
Be able to see and hear well enough to keep children safe and engage in physical activity with them.
Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
