About The Position

Teachers join a team that uses a play-based curriculum to inspire children to become lifelong learners. They support children’s intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development through age-appropriate activities, and help prepare children for kindergarten by easing them into organized education from infancy through school age. Teachers also assist with daily care, including feeding, changing, and nap time, and communicate with parents and team members through the Classroom Management system. They may assist Lead Teachers with classroom management or fulfill requests from the Assistant Director or Director.

The employer offers career growth and in-house training opportunities. The role is available in full-time and part-time schedules, Monday through Friday only.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience and knowledge of childcare licensing requirements are beneficial but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and participate in age-appropriate activities that promote children's intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development.
• Prepare children for kindergarten by helping them transition into organized education from infancy to school age using the provided curriculum.
• Assist with daily care, including feeding, changing, and nap time.
• Maintain interactive and open communication with parents and other team members using the Classroom Management system.
• Assist Lead Teachers with classroom management or fulfill requests made by the Assistant Director or Director.
