About The Position

Teachers at St. Joseph's Child Development Center support children's learning and development by assisting with KinderCare's curriculum and State Pre-K requirements in ways that meet each child's individual needs. They help create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn, partner with parents to provide high-quality care and education, and collaborate with center staff and leadership to support enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals. The role also involves building positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.

Requirements

Outstanding customer service skills.
Meet state-specific Pre-K guidelines for the role.
Able to use a computer with basic proficiency.
Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
Able to work indoors or outdoors.
Able to assume low-level postures to maintain physical and visual contact with children.
Able to see and hear well enough to keep children safe.
Able to engage in physical activity with children.
Able to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
