About The Position

Teachers at CDLC of Plano implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that meets each child's unique needs and create a safe, nurturing environment for children to play and learn. They partner with parents to provide quality care and education, work with center staff and leadership toward goals involving enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, and build positive relationships with families, colleagues, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. The role supports the center's mission of building community and delivering exceptional experiences for children and families.

Requirements

• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role, or be willing to obtain them.
• CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Able to assume low-level postures to maintain physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
