About The Position

Teachers at KinderCare Learning Centers implement the KinderCare curriculum in ways that reflect each child’s unique needs and create safe, nurturing environments for children to play and learn. They partner with parents to provide high-quality care and education and work with center staff and leadership to support goals for enrollment, accreditation, and engagement. Teachers also build positive relationships with families, colleagues, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. KinderCare says it invests in teachers’ careers and recognizes their commitment to children and families.

Requirements

Outstanding customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
Meet state-specific qualifications for the role, or be willing to obtain them.
CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it.
Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
Able to assume low-level postures to allow physical and visual contact with children.
Able to see and hear well enough to keep children safe and engage in physical activity with children.
Able to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
