About The Position

This position is for a Spanish World Language Teacher at the High School level. The role requires the candidate to hold a New Jersey Spanish certification and demonstrate a strong understanding of child development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, assessment, and research related to learning. The teacher will be expected to be knowledgeable about the New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS) and New Jersey Student Learning Assessment (NJSLA). The position also requires the ability to use data to inform instruction, experience with adolescent students, excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and good moral character. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and respect for others are essential. Computer literacy and proficiency with interactive instructional software are necessary. Effective oral and written communication skills are required for interacting with staff, students, parents, and the community. Alternatives to the stated qualifications may be considered by the Superintendent if deemed appropriate and acceptable. Requirements
