About The Position
The Rochester City School District (RCSD) is seeking a Teacher for Special Education Pre-K-6 for the 2026-2027 school year. Under the supervision of the principal, the teacher will support the vision and mission of the school and work towards achieving goals outlined in the School Improvement Plan. RCSD serves nearly 23,000 students across 48 PreK sites and 39 schools, with a commitment to equity, academic excellence, and student empowerment. The district offers specialized programs, including bilingual education, alternative learning pathways, and college and career readiness initiatives. Requirements
- New York State Teaching Certification in Special Education (Students with Disabilities Birth-Grade 2 or Grades 1-6).
