About The Position

This position is for a Student Teacher's Assistant in the Department of Music at Northwestern University. The assistant will help departmental faculty with various tasks, assigned based on need. The role involves supporting faculty in administrative duties, assisting students, and contributing to the operational needs of the music department. This is a faith-driven role within a Christ-centered educational community.

Responsibilities

• File and inventory music, maintain choral and/or instrumental library and rosters
• Assist with set up/tear down for rehearsals and concerts
• Serve as stage hand or sound technician for MUS1000
• Provide assistance with music tours
• Proctor and/or record test and quiz scores
• Assist faculty within department with a variety of office tasks
• Assist students within assigned courses as needed
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned
