About The Position

This position assists in the graphic design and layout of programs and other items as requested by the Department of Music. The role involves creating promotional materials for various music department events, designing visual content that aligns with branding standards, and producing digital graphics for multiple platforms. The Graphic Artist will collaborate with faculty and staff, manage multiple projects, and ensure timely delivery of work.

Requirements

  • Experience with InDesign graphic arts program
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Able to interact with a variety of individuals in a professional, tactful and courteous manner

Responsibilities

  • Create promotional materials for concerts, recitals, ensembles, and special music department events (posters, flyers, digital signage, and social media graphics).
  • Design and maintain visual content that aligns with the music department’s brand and campus marketing standards.
  • Collaborate with music faculty, staff, and student organizations to develop creative concepts and communicate event information effectively.
  • Produce digital graphics for websites, email campaigns, event programs, and online advertising.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and incorporating feedback from stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
