About The Position

The Pre-K Teacher joins a team that uses a play-based curriculum to inspire children to become lifelong learners. Teachers plan, direct, and participate in age-appropriate activities that promote children's intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development. They prepare children for kindergarten by helping them transition into organized education, using the provided curriculum. The role also includes daily caregiving, such as mealtimes, potty training, changing, and nap time. Teachers maintain open, interactive communication with parents and team members through the Classroom Management system. Lead Teachers oversee classroom management and junior team members' daily tasks, and assist the Assistant Director and Director with classroom and facility management as directed. The employer offers full-time and part-time positions, Monday through Friday, and describes career growth and in-house training opportunities.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience working in a registered early childhood education institute.

Responsibilities

Plan, direct, and participate in age-appropriate activities that promote children's intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development.
Prepare children for kindergarten and ease them into organized education using the provided curriculum.
Assist with daily care, including mealtimes, potty training, changing, and nap time.
