Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Appropriate Indiana teaching license for Deaf or Hard of Hearing students
- Meet applicable Indiana licensure requirements
- Valid Indiana Elementary Education (K–6) license, when applicable
- Highly Qualified status, when applicable
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Develop and implement learning strategies aligned with individual student goals
- Support communication and participation throughout the school environment
- Monitor student progress
- Contribute to educational planning
- Foster an inclusive classroom experience that promotes student independence and growth
