About The Position

The Blue Coat School, now part of the South Farnham Educational Trust, is seeking an inspirational Teacher of Technology. This role offers the potential to also serve as a Transition Lead with a reviewable TLR3B. The Design and Technology Department is well-resourced, offering Product Design, Textiles, and Food at KS3, and GCSE Design and Technology, Food, and Textiles at KS4. Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching Design and Technology.
• Ability to teach a range of disciplines within Design and Technology (Product Design, Textiles, Food).
• Commitment to high standards and expectations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Desire to grow and develop professionally.

Nice To Haves

• Experience or interest in the Transition Lead role.
• Experience teaching GCSE Design and Technology, Food, and Textiles.

Responsibilities

• Teach Design and Technology at KS3, KS4, and potentially other key stages.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of the Design and Technology curriculum.
• Potentially undertake the role of Transition Lead, with associated responsibilities.
