About The Position

TAFE NSW is seeking a Teacher of Health for their Glendale campus. This is a permanent part-time position, working 14 hours per week, with flexibility required on the days worked. The role involves delivering and assessing training for the Certificate III in Health Services Assistance and Diploma of Nursing, focusing on building students' practical skills and industry-ready capabilities. The TAFE Teacher's role is to guide and enhance the educative process, enabling students to achieve their best outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Nursing (minimum).
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • A minimum of three years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
  • Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET).
  • Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
  • Current resume.
  • Certified copies of qualifications.
  • Response to one targeted question.
  • Must hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to commencing.
  • Must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand passport.
