The Teacher, Intervention role is responsible for providing an educational atmosphere where students can achieve their full potential intellectually, emotionally, physically, and psychologically, in alignment with the District's philosophy, goals, and objectives. This position involves establishing educational goals, planning and preparing engaging lessons, identifying and modifying instructional materials to meet diverse student needs, and maintaining a positive and safe learning environment. The role also includes managing time, materials, and equipment effectively, instructing and supervising volunteers and aides, maintaining records, and utilizing effective behavior management techniques. Additionally, the teacher will assist in enforcing school rules, participate in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Educational Plans (EPs), and 504 Plans, and develop assessment strategies to monitor student progress. The position requires effective communication with professionals, students, and parents, collaboration with peers and parents, and a commitment to continuous professional growth and ethical conduct.
