About The Position

This position is for a Teacher Grade 8 Math/Perm Sub (Leave Replacement). The role requires knowledge of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS) and New Jersey Student Learning Assessment (NJSLA), effective instructional practices, and the ability to use data to drive instruction. The ideal candidate will have experience working with elementary students and possess excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and good moral character. Additionally, the candidate must be a critical thinker, problem solver, respect others, and be computer literate with the ability to use interactive computer instructional software. Effective oral and written communication skills are essential for interacting with staff, students, parents, and the community. Qualifications may be met with alternatives as approved by the Superintendent. This posting is open for ten (10) consecutive days following the date posted or until filled. Requirements

Hold an instructional K–6 certificate, a K–12 Mathematics certificate, or an appropriate substitute credential
Knowledge of the NJSLS and NJSLA
Experience working with elementary students
Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and good moral character
Critical thinker, problem solver, and respect others
Computer literate and able to use interactive computer instructional software
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
