About The Position
The Teacher - Exceptional Children position is responsible for providing appropriate educational services aligned with Kentucky Core Content and Program of Studies to students with identified disabilities. This includes developing and implementing individual education plans (IEPs), managing assigned students, employing effective classroom teaching practices, and collaborating with other school staff as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Required Kentucky certificate for the assigned position.
- Ability to work effectively with students, peers, and adults.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and faculty.
Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate educational services aligned with Kentucky Core Content and Program of Studies to students with identified disabilities.
- Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) for assigned students.
