About The Position

The Bethel School District is seeking teacher applicants who have the potential to be leaders and innovative educators. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to deliver instruction based upon best available research and practices in teaching and learning. This is a .25 FTE position for a CTE Business and Marketing Education Teacher.

Requirements

Valid and appropriate certificate and endorsements for Washington state required.
Hold Career and Technical Education (CTE) Certification in Business, Marketing, or Business and Marketing Education required.
Specific V-Codes required for this position: LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES (V520403)
Demonstrated ability to use a variety of instructional strategies and methods appropriate for student learning needs.
Possess effective problem solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
Knowledge and understanding of Washington State and Common Core Standards.

Nice To Haves

Previous successful teaching experience at grade level/subject preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver instruction based upon best available research and practices in teaching and learning.
Implement programs which will lead to industry certification of students.
Integrate technology with curriculum.
Seek out and participate in a variety of training opportunities to enhance industry and teaching skills.
Develop and maintain effective classroom management.
Organize ideas, time and materials.
Accomplish goals independently and as a member of a team.
Teach a variety of business and marketing education subjects.
Work and communicate effectively with staff, students and parents from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Work collaboratively and plan with other staff members through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs).
Accept extracurricular assignments.
