Responsible for developing, planning, organizing, and implementing an instructional program for students through curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs, while ensuring that all procedures are followed to maintain safety and security and to meet federal, state, and local regulations. This position is an instructional position for 216 days per year and is full-time and benefit eligible. For secondary education only, this position may require teaching an additional period beyond the base contract, with additional compensation at the negotiated rate. This amount will be paid as a supplement and disbursed in equal payments based on the District’s established payroll calendar, and is considered part of the salary for Florida Retirement System purposes. Pasco County Schools utilizes the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse for fingerprinting and Level II background screening.
